The first official trailer for one of the most anticipated films of 2019, Captain Marvel drops tomorrow on ABC's Good Morning America with Academy Award winning star of the film as the special guest on the show.
After the exclusive photos were released by Entertainment Weekly as the official first look at the galaxy's most powerful superhero, a full length trailer was expected to drop soon.

The humongous critical and commercial success of DC's Wonder Woman gave Marvel the confidence to move ahead with the project, "The success of Wonder Woman made me very happy because as I’ve said before in the press, I’d much rather the question be, ‘Oh gosh, what did you think about that successful female-led hero that came out a few years ago?’ Rather than the question I used to get, which was, ‘Are you afraid that people don’t want to see a female hero?’", Feige told EW. And also stated that a number of female superhero movies are in development, the latest being Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow who has got its director in Cate Shortland.

Set in the mid-1990s, Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy's mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with new questions about her past and identity when the Earth is caught in the center of an intergalactic conflict between two alien worlds.

Captain Marvel opens March 8, 2019.
